Founder-led, deliberately small, and accountable to a handful of institutions at a time.
NexELabs builds cross-border partnerships for universities, governments and industry, with our strength in health and life sciences. We do one thing well: we find the right partner, structure the right model, and stay accountable through delivery. What runs inside those partnerships is built by VyUDIE, our technology engine.
The firm is Australian, with an Indian entity and continuous operations across India. Its founding view is simple — the sector has no shortage of advice, and a considerable shortage of people who will stay until something is actually delivered.
I did not arrive at higher education from consulting. I trained as a biotechnologist and then spent nearly two decades inside the Australian university system, in senior international roles across six universities — building research collaboration, industry and government engagement, and institution-to-institution partnerships from the inside rather than from across the table.
That matters for a practical reason. I know what a partnership looks like from the desk that has to deliver it: which approvals are real obstacles and which are formalities, what a faculty will genuinely resource, and why so many agreements quietly stop after the signing photograph. NexELabs exists because I kept watching good partnerships fail at the delivery stage rather than the negotiation.
